My Journey
Originally trained in the Netherlands (Master’s in Clinical Psychology, Amsterdam), I’ve continued expanding my skills with advanced certifications in Imago Couples Therapy, EMDR, and Hypnotherapy — alongside lifelong studies in yoga, meditation, and cross-cultural healing.
In 2008, I moved to Mallorca with my partner Doby, where we created a retreat center focused on integrative healing. Since 2021, we are based in Catalunya, near the French border, continuing our retreat work while I also offer online sessions worldwide.
My path is one of constant learning, both personally and professionally. I continue to draw inspiration from teachers, traditions, and the unique presence of each client I meet. Every session is a new encounter with life.
I work with adults and adolescents — individuals or couples — and enjoy creating healing collaborations across borders and disciplines.
“Therapy is not about fixing you.
It’s about returning home to the wholeness that was never lost.”
About my approach
Healing through Acceptance, Connection, and Integration
True well-being doesn’t come from talking alone. I believe lasting transformation happens when we also tend to the unconscious patterns that live in our emotions, posture, breath, beliefs, and relationships. My approach is therefore both compassionate and active: we listen deeply, but we also move, breathe, release, and rebuild.
In our work together, I offer a space that is steady and non-judgmental. Each journey is unique. I tailor the tools and methods to support your natural rhythm and readiness, whether you’re seeking support for trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, self-worth, burnout, or spiritual connection.
I weave together Western psychology and Eastern insight, combining modalities like:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Clinical training)
- Specialisations in Burnout, grief, trauma (Clinical training)
- Imago Relationship Therapy (2 year postdoc Clinical training)
- Solution-Focused (Family)Therapy (Clinical training)
- EMDR (trauma therapy, Clinical training)
- Client-Centered Therapy (Rogers)
- Existential Therapy (Irving Yalom)
- Mindfulness-Based Approaches (Pema Chödrön)
- Focusing (Gendlin) & Meditative Dialogue
- Art Therapy, Nature-Based Therapy, Creative Writing
- Internal Family Systems & Emotional Integration
- Polyvagal Theory & Nervous System Work
- Body-Oriented Psychotherapy & Yoga Therapy
- Hypnotherapy (still in training)
My path has been shaped by years of study in transformational yoga and spiritual inquiry. I continue to be inspired by timeless traditions, science, and the courage of each person I meet.
Each session is tailored to your needs, energy, and goals — sometimes spacious and reflective, sometimes technical and focused. We may use guided inner dialogue, writing, breathwork, or cognitive tools depending on what supports your process.
You are welcome whether you need support for a moment of crisis or seek deeper transformation over time. No topic is too complex, too emotional, or too spiritual.
